After a issue with our water system David from The Economy 7 Company came out within 2 hours and helped with the problem we had even though it had nothing to do with the heaters installed.

The Quantum Heaters and Qrad we had installed in our house look great, we are over the moon with the job and really pleased the one in the lounge was moved to help with our furniture layout…

The fact the The Economy 7 Company came well in advance of the installation date to remove the old heaters so our new carpet could be fitted just shows the attention to detail we have received.

I am a Development Manager for an Independent Retirement Complex in Leeds. My main duties are to maintain the building up to an excellent standard with maintenance contractors to carry out works that ultimately takes away the “stress and “worry” for the residents so they are able to continue and live an independent lifestyle.

I received a phone call from Caroline the first week in February regarding the new Quantum economy 7 storage heaters and the economy 7 company.

As the building is fitted with storage heaters and does run on economy 7 I was keen to explore further.

I was mainly interested from a communal perspective as our current storage heaters are getting to an age of almost 10yrs and parts are becoming more obsolete and this begs the question how efficient are our current ones running as electricity is an expense within a complex like ours which houses 42 apartments ground, first, and second floor along with a guest suite and a manager office.

Caroline had a sound background of the heaters and suggested that the economy 7 company would kindly offer a no obligation presentation. She explained that this company is a family run business and that her husband David is by trade an electrician and the owner of the company this was no means a business for buying and selling.

I therefore agreed to go ahead with the presentation which we scheduled for the 13th February. David arrived at 2pm for when the presentation was scheduled. Introductions were made to both myself and the residents. He was able to put forward a very informal presentation accompanied by an information package which incorporated an easy user friendly instruction manual which residents were able to have a copy of. David also brought with him an actual heater to accompany his presentation which aesthetically the residents could see quality and size of one of the heaters.

The presentation proved a great success with David as individuals requested surveys to have the storage heaters fitted within there own individual apartments. David also did a survey for the communal areas. This was done on the afternoon 13th February. By Friday 16th February David had submitted his quote to  myself for the communal parts as well as for all individuals. Everything was easy to understand presented on spread sheets I was very impressed that all this information was submitted within 3 days.

Regarding individual installs Caroline Davids wife was my main source of contact she even brought the installs forward due to the inclement weather we were predicted and faced last week as she wanted the residents to be warm!

The Installs went ahead and I have to praise David and his team for travelling from Doncaster in such adverse conditions to continue the work. The feedback I have had has been nothing but positive the individual  residents are “delighted “ with there new storage heaters. They have commented how aesthetically they look good the warmth from them is so “cosy” they feel as if they in the “Mediterranean “ and so glad they went ahead to have the works done.

As for David as his team again nothing but positive praise his knowledge about the product his polite and accommodating manner to individuals, disposal of previous storage heaters cleaning up well after the install setting the storage heaters to individuals requests and how friendly the team were in general.

I would like to thank David and his team for doing such a professional job I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this type of  storage heater and this company definitely a 5 star rating on both accounts. I am hoping that in the future that we have David and his team back to install these storage heaters in our complex in the communal areas preparation for the Autumn / Winter of this year. As David did such a good job with fitting our heaters, when we had an electrical/water issue we did not hesitate to contact him again for help. He dropped everything and came across and sorted our issue out. As a result we decided to have a full re wire of our home and although David generally only deals with the quantum heaters he was happy to take the job on. Two weeks on and our house is fully re wired, once again David and his team provided speedy service, with a smile, leaving our house in a clean state throughout the job. Thanks again David.

Wishing to replace our old night storage heaters and searching the Internet I was fortunate enough to find The Economy 7 Company. From reading various literature on the Dimplex Quantum heaters as well as that supplied by this company it was an obvious choice to go for.

Initial purchase costs would soon be recovered by the dramatic drop in power usage as these heaters are just so efficient. Unlike old variety night storage, they are very controllable and versatile.

From start to finish their services have been excellent. The initial survey was carried out to ascertain the correct heaters required for the volume of the various rooms requiring new heaters. The surveyor was thorough and included an assessment of the mains power supply to ensure it was up to date with the latest electrical safety regulations.

A few days later I was presented with a complete breakdown of the size of heaters recommended together with the cost of fitting and carrying out the necessary electrical work. On the day of fitting, David the company owner arrived with his apprentice (good to see this aspect of the company, investing in its future). All work was carried out to a high standard. Our particular installation required surface mounted trunking, which was fitted very neatly. We were consulted throughout about exact location of heaters in each room. All fitting was done on the day arranged without any real inconvenience and all aspects of using the heaters were gone through.

I can thoroughly recommend this company both for their professionalism and friendly customer service attitude.
